Who we are

Primed.Design is a trading name of Cast Iron CAD Ltd, registered in England & Wales, company number 07353071. Registered office: Studio 01, Plus X Brighton, BN2 4GL. Cast Iron CAD Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.

What this notice covers

This notice explains what personal data we collect through the Primed.Design website, why, the lawful basis for each use, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

The data we collect and why

We do not collect special-category data, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. We do not sell personal data or use it for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects.

Card payments

Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details — they go directly to Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant. We receive only a confirmation of payment and the billing details you provide.

Who we share data with (our processors)

We use a small number of service providers who process personal data on our behalf under written terms:

  • Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd) — website analytics (statistics-cookie consent only).
  • Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft) — anonymised usage analytics / session insight (statistics-cookie consent only).
  • Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd) — payment processing.
  • n8n self-hosted on our UK server — routes form submissions between systems.
  • Notion (Notion Labs Inc.) — where we track enquiries and projects.
  • Cloudinary — hosts and delivers website images (does not receive enquiry data).

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards (UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / EU Standard Contractual Clauses). Where a processor is located outside the UK/EEA, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards — UK adequacy regulations, or the International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) / Standard Contractual Clauses.

We may also disclose data where required by law, or to professional advisers (e.g. accountants, or the IP/compliance partners we coordinate with) under confidentiality.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that don’t become projects: 12 months, then deleted.
  • Client/project records and correspondence: for the duration of the engagement and 6 years afterwards.
  • Payment/accounting records: 6 years, as required by HMRC.
  • Analytics data: retained per the provider’s settings (14 months).
  • Consent records: up to 12 months, then you are re-asked.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, to correct it, to erase it, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing done before withdrawal). To exercise any of these, contact info@primed.design. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk, helpline 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to resolve it first.
