Terms of Service — Primed.Design

Last updated: 2 July 2026

1. Who you’re contracting with

Primed.Design is a trading name of Cast Iron CAD Ltd, registered in England & Wales, company number 07353071 (“we”, “us”). All Edge Sprint and project engagements are contracted with, and invoiced by, Cast Iron CAD Ltd. These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

2. Using this website

You may use this site for lawful purposes only. The content, brand, designs and text are owned by or licensed to Cast Iron CAD Ltd; you may not copy or reuse them without permission. We provide the site “as is” and may change or withdraw it at any time.

3. The Edge Sprint

The Edge Sprint is a fixed-price engineering assessment of one Amazon product.

  • Price: £1,250 + VAT, payable at booking.
  • What it is: a 1–2 week assessment covering feasibility, an IP first-pass, an account-health check, FBA-readiness, and a written recommendation that concludes with one of four outcomes (proceed to a Design Phase; use an Advisor Block; fix account health first; or don’t proceed).
  • What it is not: the Edge Sprint is a decision-grade diagnostic, not a design deliverable, and not a guarantee of any commercial outcome. No one can promise Amazon rankings or sales.
  • Delivery: delivered by Dave Lock personally, typically within 1–2 working weeks of booking and receipt of the information we need from you.
  • Refunds: because the Edge Sprint is a bespoke service that begins on booking, it is non-refundable once work has started, except where required by law. Business clients: the Edge Sprint is non-refundable once work has started. Consumers have the statutory cancellation rights that apply to bespoke services.

4. Design Phase and Manufacture Phase

  • Design Phase: full product design and engineering, from £6,000 + VAT, scoped and contracted separately. You own the resulting specification and tooling design.
  • Manufacture Phase: an opt-in managed-manufacturing service after the Design Phase — setup from £4,000 plus a production markup disclosed in the contract.
  • Advisor Block: engineering time by the hour at £100/hr (5-hour block £500, 10-hour block £1,000; +VAT). Blocks expire 6 months after purchase.

Each of these is governed by its own written agreement, which takes precedence over these terms where they differ.

5. Intellectual property and compliance

We coordinate IP and compliance via partners — we do not provide legal advice. Any freedom-to-operate or patent opinion is provided by a qualified third party we coordinate on your behalf; the engagement letter for that work sits between you and that provider or is disclosed as a pass-through. Ownership of designs and IP created in a Design Phase is set out in that phase’s agreement.

6. Payment

Payments are taken via Stripe. Invoices are due as stated on the invoice or at booking for the Edge Sprint. We are VAT-registered; VAT is added at the prevailing rate.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, our total liability arising from the website or an engagement is limited to the fees paid for the relevant engagement, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue or anticipated savings.
